Telveden ("the App") is a coffee cup fortune reading app developed by Nixes ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Device identifier. When you first open the App, a random unique identifier is generated and stored on your device. This is used solely to authenticate requests to our reading service and enforce daily usage limits. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any personal information.
Cup photos. When you request a fortune reading, your coffee cup photo is sent to our server, forwarded to an AI service (OpenRouter) for analysis, and then immediately discarded. We do not store, save, or retain your photos on our servers.
Reading history. Your fortune readings and journal entries are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a reading.
Subscription status. Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.
AI processing. Cup photos are processed by third-party AI services to generate fortune readings. Photos are sent for processing and are not retained by these services beyond the duration of the request.
App Store. Subscription purchases and management are handled by your device's app store provider.
The App requests camera access solely to photograph your coffee cup for fortune readings. Photos are processed as described above and are not used for any other purpose. You can revoke camera access at any time in your device's Settings.
On our server: We store only the random device identifier and a count of daily readings (for rate limiting). Cup photos are never stored. Reading content is never stored on our server.
On your device: Journal entries and reading history are stored locally and persist until you delete them within the App or delete the App itself.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Since we store minimal data (only a random device identifier on our server), there is very little personal data to manage. If you wish to reset your device identifier, you can delete and reinstall the App. All local reading data can be deleted within the App's settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
